Breedbladige weegbree, blanke man's voet of grote weegbree In het Verenigd Koninkrijk en Ierland wordt de plant door kinderen gebruikt om verschillende eenvoudige spelletjes te spelen, genaamd 'The 1 o'clock gun' - we draaiden de stengel rond in een soort strop, trokken er snel aan (met de linkerhand scherp terugtrekkend en de rechterhand vooruit bewegend) en dan schoot de kop van de stengel eraf als een kleine kanonskogel!
