Among the mostly widely collected of Rozendaal's early glassware are his stemware pattern Logos and complementary Narkissos beaker's. Featuring a clear geometric optic in the horizontal evenly distributed over the height of the glass.
It first came onto the market around 1930 and was still in production in 1941 or later. It's most distinctive feature was the angular profile using two or three horizontal planes to form the bowl.
Although it is most frequently seen (and catalogued) with a straight cylindrical stem and round foot in purple glass, there were several other variant decors produced; in clear glass, with guilloche design on the bowl, and on a hexagonal facet stem with cut foot.
The Narkissos beaker set was available in a wide range of sizes which feature some of the same lines. Although there are considerable gaps in the documentation of this period at Maastricht it seems clear that the company produced many other similar service patterns which were broadly speaking 'compatible' with the Logos foundation. There are variants with and without flared rims, and the ice-coupe is found on a foot as well as on a saucer. Items which do not appear n the list below MAY be later additions, or parts of similar but un-named patterns. It is not clear whether all items were produced in all the decors. Prices refer to the 'original' decor (i.e. cylindrical stem and foot in purple)
