Belgian Glass Marks and Examples

This gallery contains photographs of Belgian glass items WITH LABELS, or WITH PRESSED MARKS intended to serve as examples for identification.
As discussed elsewhere on this site there is very little documentation about the products of the smaller Belgian factories, and it is clear that other factories often made very similar, almost identical products. Some of these photos are contributed for disambiguation and comparison.
The general conclusion (particularly in reference to popular designs such as 'beaker vase with hooped foot') must be that only the paper label is a really reliable indicator of manufacture. The surviving catalogues and pattern books for Boom and Doyen are helpful, but there were imitators, customers who bought blanks from both factories and decorated them elsewhere, and producers who acquired the factory molds and (may have) reused them.
Below we've included examples from the factories which we have found with labels, and some examples of selected labels.
